Search and viewing
When a prospective tenant is invited to participate in a viewing of a property, this will always be at a specific time when the candidate has time to view the property and ask questions about the property and the contract. We will never let multiple candidates view the property at the same time. Every invited candidate has an equal chance.
Screening potential tenants
Prospective tenants are screened before we offer a definitive contract. This will be in terms of income, employer's statement, a current landlord check and an internet check.
Rental contract and conditions
If a tenant decides to rent the property, a rental contract is drawn up. This contract contains important information such as the rental price, the rental period, the rights and obligations of both parties, and other conditions,
Signing the rental contract
Once the rental conditions have been agreed, both parties sign the rental contract. The contract is then official and the tenant can move into the property. The landlord is obliged to deliver the property in good condition, and it is up to the tenant to maintain the property and ensure timely payment of the rent.
Termination of the lease
When the tenant or landlord wants to terminate the lease, both parties must adhere to the notice periods. After termination, the tenant must return the property in the same condition as when moving in, with the exception of normal wear and tear. The deposit minus any costs will be refunded to the account within the set period.
We strive to create a balanced relationship between tenants and landlords. It is therefore important to be well informed about the rental conditions and any legal provisions in order to prevent misunderstandings or disputes. You can read more about this
on the government website about the rights and obligations of tenants and landlords.
